Delivers what it promises

The construction of it is solid. The system for adjusting width and height works well. Using it is easy, and the mouthpiece is very useful. Clean up is quick and easy, too. Only minor negative was two sided tape for attaching piece to guides. Overall, I like it and am very satisfied with the product.

Almost perfect!

This has been a great product. Before this, I had to guess how far to shave my goatee on all sides. The hardest part for me was always the bottom of my goatee and lately it was looking bad so I thought I would give this product a chance. I found out that I wasn't really doing a great job on my own! I had to grow a strip of hair on my right side because I had always shaved that too much. The bottom took awhile to grow back in evenly too. I like to comb my goatee down when I put this on and then shave any hairs that stick out. It really gives a straight edge. I don't have a very thick goatee, which I wish I could grow, but at least the shape of it is correct now.

We all know as we get older sometimes our vision starts to go as well! So instead of worrying about walking around with a crooked goatee, this product helps insure that doesn't happen! I think its a great idea and a great product for me!

At first I was skeptical of this product. However, I decided to give it a shot. I'm one of those people who grows in nice facial hair but always seems to screw up trimming it and keeping it symmetrical. Drives me crazy! The device arrived very quickly and is packaged nicely. The key, in my opinion, is fitting it properly to your face by adjusting the three turning bars for top, middle, and bottom. With a little trial and error, I found the fit I was hoping for, put in the mouthpiece and lathered up to shave. Once I got the hang of holding it flush to the face (not too hard, not soft enough to allow the edge of the razor to slip underneath the device) it was smooth sailing. I've used it three times now and my goatee has never been so even. Some guys are naturals at shaving straight, perfect goatees. For the rest of us, there is GoateeSaver. Kudos to the inventor. The device is well produced, adjusts nicely, and is easy to clean. It's not magic. But after some experimentation, I believe just about anyone will come to appreciate and use this device if they have trouble maintaining a goatee. It's now a solid part of my grooming routine. A great stocking stuffer and smile maker! The wife laughs when she sees it but cannot deny the results. Love it! A+

Value, easy to use, symmetrical

I will never again have a lop aided goatee. I never actually knew how misshaped my Goatee actually was. I shaped the goatee guard, put it on, and the bottom left of my Goatee was sticking out. So, do yourselves a favor, buy this, shape the guard to your desired width, and use it. I was skeptical at first because the guy on the box has a funky looking goatee, and you don't have to have yours look like that. My Goatee is basically the same as it was, which I liked, but now it's symmetrical, which is what I was after. It also made it slightly shorter on my neck, pushing my Goatee a little more towards my chin. If you don't want that, simply don't cut there and eyeball that part, but at least your sides will match up.

It's like the Ferrari of goatee trimmers, having had a goatee all my life the other cheap plastic gimmicky are like bicycles compared to this one. Totally pro!

Somewhat happy

I had a hard time getting the device adjusted to the shape I wanted. It also goes out of adjustment over time so I had to put tape on the adjustment wheels to keep them from moving. It took a while but I now have it in a shape and I am happy with.

It was great! I wish it could provide an even broader goatee, with broader sides and longer distance from chin to the neck. Additional adjustment for a more pointy face is important so people do not need to keep it bending to reach the skin

Absolutely love this! It's the best 20 dollars I have spent! I shave in the shower, and have terrible vision! It makes it hard to shave when you can't see! This is the best invention ever.

Nifty Device

This is a clever device for evenly shaping your goatee if you can get beyond looking like Hannibal Ledger and saying "Hello Clarice" to your spouse. Using the bite plate keeps this device in place much better than holding it with your hand. The only drawback is that it can't be used to trim under the lower lip. Maybe the next version. Shaping was prompt, packaged well, and had a tracking number.

It was great. Easy to use. I started wide to make sure I did not make my goatee was not too small and nailed it on the first try. I am looking forward to more products from this company.

I am totally satisfied with My Perfect Goatee. It is pretty much as advertised, perfect shave every time. I really like how it has cut down on my shaving time as well. It was always difficult in the past to get the perfect outline without messing it up and very time consuming. Now within a few minutes, done and perfect every time.

Almost perfect product

I used to own the previous model and liked the fact that it was gray in color because it was a lot more visible to see your goatee lines against the gray color. The dark blue color makes it difficult to see the hair lines. However, I do like the fact that the obnoxious orange color has been eliminated from the new product with more manly colors. I would like to see the product colors changed to gray again with blue accent colors.

Good gadget!

Fantastic. I only felt there is a function missing: the possibility you lock the gadget when you shape it the way you want. Then you could use that mould over and over again. But there may be this possibility as well and I didn't find it. I will look thoroughly thorough it again.

I recently lost my charger while out of town. I reached out to customer service about purchasing a new one. Scott responded very fast and simply asked for my mailing address. He said he would send a new one FREE of charge. I’ve never had a company replace anything for free that I can recall. The razor itself is high quality and performs as advertised, I’ve been using it for over two years with zero issues. Charges fast and holds a charge long enough that you don’t have to constantly charge it. Highly recommend this product.

Great gadget

Great design and construction. However, having some difficulty shaving the left side of the goatee as I'm right handed and can't quite maneuver the big head of the electric razor to follow the edge of the template. My right side shaves easily and looks good.

It was pretty good.I noticed the different colors of the product this time.and that it had a couple of extra pieces,etc.. On one of the Goatee Savers I ordered in the past, the middle adjustments were a little loose. But,this one worked just fine. I think the first one I purchased may have been in 2009. It is a good product. I like it.

Cool product l love it & recommend it, but I have a horrible bite due to loss of some teeth. So I have to hold it place with my hands Kinda tricky.

Simple great product

I have been using this for about a week and a half now and this product is so simple and easy to use. I shave in the shower and have dropped it twice now and happy to say it didn't break. Hat plastic, well built and very easy to adjust even in middle of using it. This certainly saves a significant amount of time and keeps from getting the "uneven" look since the adjustment knobs equally and proportionally move each side which creates symmetry, as well as the correct amount under the chin. I highly recommend it.
