Yes, the GoateeSaver is designed to be used with shaving cream and water.
When adjusting the GoateeSaver, there are several steps to take. In order to adjust the side guides wider, each silver roller needs to be turned a little each time it is adjusted. Start with the top roller, turn a little, move to middle roller, turn a little, move to bottom, and turn a little. Repeat these steps until the GoateeSaver is adjusted to your preferred width.
The widest adjustment for the width of the GoateeSaver is 3.8 inches or 96 mm.
It will take no longer than your normal shaving time, and very likely much faster since it provides a pattern to shave around. It will eliminate the “free hand” mistakes that are sometimes made, causing an unsightly goatee.
You do not have to trim at all. If you do trim, however, trim your goatee to the preferred length first and then use the GoateeSaver.
The GoateeSaver is primarily made of a durable plastic for long lasting usage. The mouthpiece is made of food grade plastic so that it is safe to be placed in your mouth. The GoateeSaver also has chrome plated turnbuckles with screws to hold them securely in place.
This issue has to do with the way most razors are designed. Razors have about a 1/8th gap from where the end of the razor blade holder ends and where the actual blade begins. This is not a problem, as it is consistent on both sides of the razor, therefore, even on both sides of the goatee.
The GoateeSaver is made of durable plastic and can be cleaned with hot water.
The first few times you shave with the GoateeSaver, it might take a few minutes longer than normal until you get the feel for using this new product. After that, it will greatly decrease your shaving time, as the GoateeSaver provides a pattern to shave around your goatee. We process all orders either the day the order was placed or the next business day (Monday-Saturday). There are three main shipping options for international orders. "First Class Mail International" is the least expensive and the most common. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. "Priority Mail International" is the second fastest and takes around 6-10 business days to arrive. The third option is "Express Mail International" and is the most expensive and takes 1-3 business days. None of the delivery times above are guaranteed, but are a guideline given by the USPS for what to expect.
"First Class Mail International" orders can take 4-6 weeks for delivery, but after week 5, there are two places that need to be checked for your package. These suggestions are based on actual experiences of other customers with delayed international packages. The first place to check is your local post office. Many times this is where the package will be held for pickup. The second place to check is your local customs office. Sometimes the customs office may have a question about your package or there may be a customs fee due. Please know that most packages do not have any issues, but if you still have not been able to locate your package after making contact with these two places, please e-mail email@example.com and we will discuss the next steps to be taken to help find your order.
When an international package is shipped using the United States Postal Service (USPS), there is a custom's claim number that will be e-mailed to the customer. This number can be used to track your order until it leaves the U.S. Once it leaves the U.S., the package will pass through several different countries which may not have the same tracking system as the USPS, and will therefore show only the last US state where the package was scanned. We have chosen to use the USPS as our shipping carrier because they are reliable and their costs are very reasonable. Please see "Where is my international order" in the FAQ section for more details if a package is lost.
